These guidelines exist to keep EH Assets a high-quality, helpful resource for the Emergency Hamburg community. All uploads are reviewed by moderators before appearing publicly. By submitting a map or customising your profile, you agree to follow these guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service.
Only upload maps that you created yourself, or that you have explicit permission to share. Do not copy or re-upload maps made by other players without their consent. If you have collaborated on a map, ensure all parties are aware it is being listed here.
Map names, descriptions, and screenshots must accurately represent the map. Do not use misleading titles, fake previews, or descriptions that exaggerate or misrepresent your map's content. Deliberately misleading listings may be removed and repeated offences may result in a suspension.
We welcome maps of all sizes and complexity. Small, focused maps are absolutely fine, however, submissions must represent a genuine, playable map with meaningful content. The following are considered low quality and will be rejected:
If you're unsure whether your map meets the quality bar, a good rule of thumb is: would another player get genuine value from loading this map in-game? If yes, it's likely fine. If not, it probably needs more work before submission.
You must provide at least one screenshot of your map. Screenshots should:
Submissions with no screenshots, clearly incorrect screenshots, or inappropriate images will be rejected.
All content on EH Assets - including map names, descriptions, screenshots, tags, profile bios, and profile banners - must be appropriate for a general audience. The following are not permitted:
You may personalise your profile with a banner image or GIF, and a short bio. These are subject to the same content standards as all other content on the platform. In addition:
The Map ID you submit must be the genuine UUID assigned to your map inside Emergency Hamburg. Do not submit fake, random, or incorrect IDs. If your map has multiple variants which players can use (e.g. no vegetation), you can add up to 5 IDs to a single listing. Do not create a duplicate listing for the same map.
Use tags that are relevant to your map. Do not use tags that are misleading, irrelevant, or used purely to game the search system. Tags should help players find maps that match their interests. Spam tags or unrelated keywords may result in your tags being edited or your listing removed.
Moderators review all submissions and have final say on what is approved or rejected. Rejection does not mean your map is bad, it may simply need more work, better screenshots, or clearer descriptions. You are welcome to revise and resubmit.
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you can submit a suspension appeal via the Appeal page (if appeals are currently open).
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
Serious or repeated violations, such as submitting inappropriate content, impersonating others, or attempting to exploit the platform, will be escalated and may result in a permanent suspension.
If you have questions about whether your map or content meets these guidelines, feel free to ask in our community Discord: discord.gg/wmRzgABJqU.
